Preservation Information
The cab from 50269 was saved in January 2004 when the rest of the vehicle was scrapped after withdrawal as part of 101683.

Initially preserved in Barry, South Wales, no work was carried out on the cab and it was sold to a second owner who removed it from site. The first location wasn't widely reported but it is thought to have possibly been located as a bus depot.

Since then no reports on 50269's cab have been received. The cab's current location, owner and condition are all unknown, indeed it is not known if the cab is still extant.
