Preservation Information
Experimental railbus with a body based on the Leyland National bus. Used for trials and exported as there were hopes to expand into the overseas market. Unsurprisingly this did not materialise. The vehicle toured the USA, Denmark and Sweden before returning to the UK for static use.

Little is known about RB002's preservation career although it was thought to have first been preserved in 1999.

The first preservation era reports received concerning RB002 showed it to be stored at the Riverstown Old Corn Railway, near Dundalk. This location later changed its name and became known as the Carlingford Brewing Company.

The last report of RB002 placed it still at the Carlingford Brewing Company, in storage in October 2019.

Future Plans
The owner advised the Vintage Carriages Trust in 2011 that restoration was intended to start, but that time to do so was very limited.
