Yeovil Railway Centre

The Yeovil Railway Centre is a small heritage outfit based in the servicing yard adjacant to Yeovil Junction station since 1993. Originally intended to save the threatened turntable and servicing facilities to allow continued operation of steam specials into the West Country, the project grew as gifferent groups became resident and rolling stock was obtained. DMU's were never a part of the centre for many years however.

In 2013 the railway took delivery of a single Class 117 trailer car for use as hauled stock, starting their association with DMUs.
