Preservation Information
Purchased as a source of original components for 56358, the vehicle was slowly but thoroughly stripped over seven years. The spring buffers & roof vents were removed, and the interior (which included original pattern Formica panels) was dismantled to return 56358 to original condition. By May 2012 the vehicle had been reduced to little more than a shell and was disposed of.

56365 never ran in preservation and was always intended to be scrapped. The vehicle had little historical significance and at the time of disposal nine similar vehicles remained in preservation.
