Preservation Information
Already stripped of many parts preventing any return to operational condition, 50268 was acquired in 2006 with the railway’s other class 101 two car set as a source of spares.

The vehicle was very thoroughly stripped on site, restoration never being considered.

The parts from 50268 safeguarded the future running of other Keighley & Worth Valley vehicles.
