Preservation Information Later moved to the Mid Norfolk Railway, the vehicle was stripped and scrapped in 2004, with many components (including the bogies) being retained for future maintenance and restoration work. 51386 had little historical significance and several Class 117 DMS vehicles still survive, the class being one of the most numerous in preservation. |
